Biblical Peace That Endures
Jesus told His disciples, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
This peace doesn’t depend on everything going right in life. It is rooted in the unshakable presence of Christ, who walks with us through valleys and storms.
The Ministry of Comfort
At Iglesia Bautista De El Valle, one of our most cherished ministries is bringing comfort to those who are hurting. Through prayer gatherings, pastoral visits, and community outreach, we strive to remind people of God’s promises of rest and renewal.
Whether it’s visiting someone in the hospital, delivering food to a family in need, or simply listening to a neighbor share their burdens, every act of love is a way of showing the peace of Christ in action.
Experiences of God’s Presence
Many in our church family have shared stories of how God’s peace has met them in difficult times:
- One member found strength during a season of grief, holding fast to Psalm 23:4 – “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.”
- Another testified how prayer during an anxious night brought them calm beyond understanding (Philippians 4:6–7).
- Families in our congregation often say that gathering together in worship renews their spirits and reminds them that God is always near.
